		VA Claims Assistance DAV™ Department of Nevada DAV™ benefits experts are available to help Veterans gain a better understanding of their VA benefit. They also provide counseling for Veterans on claims and appeals, all at no cost to the veteran.

Our Department Service Officers (DSO) and Chapter Service Officers (CSO), provide one of the most important links for the DAV™ Department of Nevada. They are responsible for providing accurate information related to benefits and services available to veterans, their dependents and survivors.

The responsibility of our DSO's / CSO's, is to advise, instruct and counsel claimants and to aid in the preparation of claims for various benefits to which claimants may be entitled.

When an inquiry is taken or after an appropriate VA form is completed, such information is immediately forwarded to the National Service Officer (NSO), for review in accuracy and submission to the regional office.
